At MRI Imaging Center we recognize the key role of medical office professionals—receptionists, schedulers, billing and collections staff—in ensuring the efficient and prompt delivery of excellent patient care. We know the challenges of juggling physician schedules, patients’ needs, insurance constraints, and services such as diagnostic imaging. With you in mind, we work hard to make the process of referring patients and receiving reports and images as fast and easy as possible. Some of the ways we do that are:
- Schedule to meet patient and physician needs
- Time slots for stat patients are always available
- Accept referrals by phone, fax, or email
- Accept Walk-Ins for CAT and X-Ray scans
- Accept Walk-Ins for MRI and Ultrasound scans when possible
- Assist in obtaining insurance authorizations
- Reserve time slots or blocks if your office requests that service

Transportation
We offer free transportation for patients who need it. For physicians in outlying areas we offer a program to make it easier for patients to come to Fresno for their scans. Click here to learn more.
Reports
We provide reports and images in a number of ways.
- Our MRI WEBSCAN online system manages reports and images, making tracking easy and reducing mistakes
- Reports are faxed as soon as they are received from the reading radiologist, usually within one business day of the patient’s exam
- If requested, films are delivered the same day that the report is received
- Reports and images are available on computer disk
